Our Staff

We have a professional, caring team who will support and complement other professionals in your care such as GPs, District Nurse’s, Community Matron’s, Physiotherapist’s, Occupational Therapist’s and Speech Therapist’s.

We recruit and check our staff vigorously prior to accepting them into our team. These checks include previous employment history and references, character references and Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks, in doing so we ensure all of our care staff are able to meet the highest professional standards.

Our staff complete a full induction programme in line with the common induction standards prior to commencing any care provision and receive regular updated training via our Mandatory Training Programme. We encourage and support further professional development through Diplomas in Social Care (previously called NVQs) for our staff.

We strive to provide consistency and continuity matching wherever possible the same care staff with client throughout the care we provide.

All Worth Valley Care Staff members carry an ID card. This holds a photograph of the worker, name and job title along with details of the company.
